Vinification
Quinces harvested around Christine's village are co-fermented with Riesling and finished as a pét-nat, with wild yeasts, no fining or filtration and minimal sulfur.
Winery Story
Christine Pieroth split from her family's centuries-old Nahe estate to found Piri Naturel, working chemical-free with wild yeasts and little or no sulfur. Her labels are hand-printed from flora she gathers in the vineyards.
Vineyard Story
Riesling from Germany's Nahe around Burg Layen, on the region's mix of slate, quartzite and volcanic soils that give the grape its cut and tension.
