Vinification
A serious, dry rosé: gently pressed and spontaneously fermented in old barrels with no temperature control, then aged around 20 months and bottled unfined, unfiltered and with no added sulfur.
Winery Story
Maria and Sepp Muster are pioneering biodynamic growers of Southern Styria near Leutschach (Demeter since 2003), giving voice to their steep "opok" slopes with minimal cellar intervention.
Vineyard Story
Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and the local Blauer Wildbacher from 30-plus-year-old vines on "opok" — a hard silty clay-limestone soil almost like schist.
